• Accidental Aesop: When Percy complains about George, Thomas dismissively tells Percy to “just ignore” him. When Thomas practices his own advice on George, George retaliates by sabotaging the level crossing, leading to Thomas's crash. This inadvertently creates the message that ignoring a bully doesn’t automatically make them bored and leave you alone. Sometimes, they might hit harder.
  • Furthermore, Gordon’s assumption that George won't bully him (although George doesn't directly target Gordon, he had no problem allowing him to get caught in the crossfire) shows that being one of the bigger kids doesn't necessarily make you exempt from being a target. A more downplayed example also includes Duck (who in turn is not an engine you wanna mess with) actually being a direct target.
