• Alternative Character Interpretation: For Season 1:
  • How much of what Chuck has been saying are reiterations of what the real Daniel said and how much is him trying to misdirect Gwen?
  • In the end, when he leaves a voice message for Gwen where he keeps switching between his and Daniel's voices, is he just taunting her or is being confronted with the truth after so many years of keeping up appearances making him crack?
• Crosses the Line Twice: The season-closing song of Season 2 (Missing Melissa). Unfortunately, Gwen says they commissioned the song before she had figured out that Melissa probably faked her own death, but the song was written around the assumption that Jimmy had killed Melissa and buried her body. The resulting song would be horribly sad and offensive to use - if the songwriter hadn't gone so completely over-the-top with the graphic descriptions and creative liberties, making the use of the song loop around and become darkly hilarious.
