• Hilarious in Hindsight: At one point Marilyn mentions speaking with her father about "real things, not just about electronic baseball or super soccer". At the time, these were no doubt intended to sound like futuristic versions of contemporary sports. Between the time the episode aired and when it was indicatively set in the year 2000, actual (video) games by these names would be made. In the 1970s, Mattel released an early handheld video game called Electronic Baseball game (and others have been released since). In the 1990s, a game called Super Soccer was released for the Super Nintendo.
• Values Resonance: This episode was created at the very beginning of the age of plastic surgery. Half a century later, it hasn't aged at all.
