YMMV / The Time Machine (1978)

• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Neil's visits to the Puritan era and The Wild West are contrived, pointless, and go nowhere. They also make him look like a massive idiot because when he loses access to his Time Machine in 802701, that's now the third time in a row that's happened to him. Not to mention, it adds in the Plot Hole about why he ended up in two different locations.
• Broken Aesop: Inventing weapons is bad. The Eloi using those same weapons to defeat the Morlocks is good.
