- Fridge Logic: Ginny Weasley does this, pointing out the many situations in which Harry has been in along the years, to make him realise that Dumbledore is either incompetent or has been planning something in regards to him.
- It is also pointed by Ginny that Snape's behaviour of insulting his pupils (especially Harry), becoming over-biased in favour of Slytherin and not really teaching a thing, ostensibly with the aim of ensuring Voldemort thinks Snape is on his side, could be counter-producent, because it could arise suspicions that the supposed champion of Muggle-borns and half-bloods would allow someone to act in such a way against them.
