YMMV / The Simpsons S27 E20: "To Courier with Love"

• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The Simpsons are going to France, and converse with people from Bart's past, people that Bart sent to jail for serious crimes... and instead of a story of attempted revenge and the family finding out what happened, we get a generic Simpsons Vacation Episode that even the show admits has been overdone, with a wild goose chase that goes nowhere. Of course, it would have been a Sequel Episode to an episode from 27 years before...although such a large gap didn't stop them next season.
  • The episode also conveniently ignores that time the family actually lived in France.
