YMMV / The Haunting of Sharon Tate

Go To

  • Audience-Alienating Premise: It's a movie that basically turns a real-life tragedy to a (poorly-made) horror movie. In addition to that, it also attracted flak from many people for portraying a lot of the (real) characters condescendingly, and the movie itself was disowned by Tate's sister.
  • Cliché Storm: One of the criticisms of the film is the overuse of common horror movie cliches, with most of them done extremely poorly.
  • Special Effect Failure: The entire final scene of the movie is shot in slow-motion. But the crew just slowed it down without changing the frame rate, and as such, it looks really choppy and amateurish.
