YMMV / The Gate to Women's Country

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: It's strongly implied that Myra is the way she is because her father has a history of siring rebellious brats, including Chernon. On the other hand, she's the only one of Morgot's children who wasn't fathered by Joshua, making her a literal Red-Headed Stepchild. On top of that, she was sired artificially, without Morgot's knowledge or consent, by a stranger who she later learned had a bad track record. It's quite possible that on some level, Morgot and Joshua didn't love her as much as the kids they had together. Since we only see the family through Stavia's eyes, there's no way to be sure.
  • Squick: Plenty, with special mention going to the prostitutes' medical exam, and Firstborn Brome's sex life with his fourteen-year-old wife.
