While that might be right under normal circumstances, he only did it because Cisco was just short of getting his head bitten off by King Shark and the latter wasn't responding to any of the Team's or Tanya's verbal requests^note Although Cisco questioned if Barry planned to give him the cure regardless, it's notable that Barry waited until Cisco was about to die.. Also, before Grodd took control of him, King Shark was eager to take the cure.
