YMMV / The Fairly Odd Parents S 1 E 13 Christmas Every Day

Go To

  • Don't Shoot the Message: The ending, where all children from different backgrounds, as well as different countries, all working together to help Timmy, could be seen as some sort of diversity message, which is needed today. It still falters, though, because they're all stated as celebrating Christmas, which many cultures in the world don't.
  • Franchise Original Sin: This is the first instance of a new rule being added to "Da Rules". Rather than needlessly adding nonsensical rules to make Timmy unable to unwish his wish like later seasons would, it was only added at the end, and its mention is Played for Laughs. The rule actually did make sense because it turned out to create a deadlock in which the wish can't be broken, and it was only broken because of a "Eureka!" Moment by Timmy, which they don't want to have to risk banking on again.
