- Tear Jerker:
- Pete's Heroic Sacrifice, he attempts to save the rest of the expedition by luring the carnivorous dinosaurs away. Only to run straight into a much larger group and presumably get eaten.
- Near the end of film, Johnathan apparently falling to his death after a rockslide despite Luke's desperate attempts to save him.
