YMMV / The Defenders (2017) S1E1 "The H Word"

• Fight Scene Failure: The very first fight scene (Danny and Colleen vs. Elektra) gets hit with this. The scene is admittedly at a cross purposes with itself, as it has to both conceal Elektra's identity, but also convey that she is now superhumanly strong and fast following her resurrection as the Black Sky, but in practice is just edited too frenetically for the audience to really get a good look at her or the way she fights. Keeping her identity a mystery is also somewhat unnecessary from a narrative standpoint; the viewer has either seen Daredevil (2015) and will probably know exactly who this shadowy figure is, or hasn't, so concealing her identity won't mean anything to them either way.
