• What Could Have Been:
  • Terra II was going to be established as an elemental on the same level as characters such as Swamp Thing.
  • The inconsistencies with what the Team Titans knew of history were originally building up to the reveal that they were all actually from an alternate version of Earth.
  • Duela Dent's appearance in the lead-up to Zero Hour: Crisis in Time! featured her as an older woman in a mental hospital claiming she was a Teen Titan and Robin was her boyfriend despite her doctor pointing out Duela's age made that impossible. The initial plan was to reveal she was another time lost member of the Team Titans who got trapped in the 1970s, and was going to get her hands on the Time Trapper's hourglass to warp the present day to fit her memories.
  • The title was briefly considered as a Backdoor Pilot for a new series about an alternate version of the Fab Five Titans who were all still teenagers, due to editorial wanting to use Dick Grayson as Robin again. The initial Team Titans line-up were going to be a group of decoy protagonists.
  • Mirage was going to use her abilities to induce a miscarriage after finding out she was pregnant with Deathwing's baby following the rape.
