• Creepy Awesome: Hallucifer is very menacing, in a playful way that is different from what we saw of him in Season 5 but highly effective in his tormenting of Sam.
• Stoic Woobie: Oh Castiel! After becoming a Well-Intentioned Extremist and going darkside, he committed terrible acts, only some of which were caused by the monstrous souls he had absorbed. He briefly gets better only to be taken over by Leviathans and his body is painfully torn apart. Then, he's resurrected without a memory and settles into a happy life with a wife who loves him and is dedicating himself to helping people. Thanks to Dean, he not only remembers who and what he is, but what he did, which immediately begins to cause him intense distress. On top of that, he absorbs Sam's hell memories, becomes terrified, and goes catatonic, with only the demon Meg to care for him. Yet, he shows very little emotion through the whole process, only the occasional flash of guilt. Later, he stays in Purgatory to punish himself and when he's returned, he straight-up admits to Dean that he is suicidal.
