YMMV / Supergirl (2015) S4E15 "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

• Ass Pull:
  • We get zero explanation of how Otis survived, especially since Mercy apparently really was killed by the exact same thing.
  • It's revealed that not only has Lex been funding Lena's work from prison all along, but this is actually the reason she broke up with James.
• Like You Would Really Do It: Right from the get-go, it was highly unlikely a character as iconic as Jimmy Olsen would actually be killed off. Sure enough, he is all better by the end of the episode.
• Moral Event Horizon: Up to this episode, Manchester was always portrayed as being somewhat sympathetic. This ends when he plans on destroying the National City dam, flooding the city and killing thousands of people, all just to prove a point to J'onn.
• Take That, Scrappy!: The episode goes a bit out of its way to paint Mon-El as constantly dropping anti-AI microaggressions around Brainy.
