- Unexpected Character: The return of Tuvok. While Terry Matalas and Wil Wheaton had teased another legacy character would appear in this episode, nobody expected it would be Voyager's Vulcan tactical officer (especially as Tim Russ' appearance had been successfully kept under wraps).
