• Alternative Character Interpretation: Was Mama Krabs actually cheating on Plankton with the robot, hence his genuine reaction when she gets pissed off for mentioning the formula, or did he reprogram the robot to make her take the fall so he could get an easy swoop on the secret formula?
• Ass Pull: The revelation that Patrick never removed the camera lens before filming, despite previous scenes clearly showing that the camera lens is off. Though he could have placed the lens in between filming the previous scene and the scene that was performed badly.
• Demographically Inappropriate Humour: Upon hearing Plankton breathing heavily into the phone, Mama Krabs threatens to hang up. In other words, she thinks she's getting an obscene phone call.
• Fridge Horror: If worms are established to be dogs underwater in the SpongeBob universe, and SpongeBob ate a few during his mental breakdown, then...
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The shocked reactions from the characters over the idea of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy being played by "actors" in a movie becomes this, when over a decade later, SpongeBob is adapted into a Broadway musical, with real-life "actors".
