• Alternative Character Interpretation: Is Samantha really dissociative, or is she a psychopath that is completely aware of her actions?
• The Woobie:
  • William Haskin, who not only witnessed Samantha brutally murder his lover, but was blamed for it and spent two years in prison. While he did torment Samantha, this was done because he wanted to clear his good name and get her to confess. However; he doesn't succeed, gets impaled on spikes, and Samantha escaped justice yet again, with William likely being blamed for the other murders. If that's not enough, the poor dude clings to life after being impaled, only to make a last ditch attempt to walk towards Samantha, before collapsing and succumbing to his wounds.
  • Leonard, the psychiatrist who seems to really care about Samantha and his patients, and does his best to help them. Even after he is channeled by Joy Wallace, following his death, he's concerned about what will happen to his patients
