  • Heartwarming Moments: In SEC Shorts - Georgia wins it all and Hope moves on, Hope decides to leave Georgia for Texas A&M after Georgia's national championship victory. Georgia is devastated by this, but their last words to each other are touching.
Georgia: I just don't understand. 41 years and you're just leaving? We're just getting started. We're Georgia fans. We hope. It's what we do. What's changed?
Hope: What's changed is this time, you hoped you could do it. Next time, you know you can do it.
    • And the next year, Georgia won a second straight national title, proving Hope right.
    • The end of "SEC teams get their final 2022 season report cards" features a silent tribute to the late Mississippi State coach Mike Leach, who died of a heart attack on December 12, 2022. After seeing Mississippi State downcast, the teacher offers them a hug, which Mississippi State accepts as a caption reading "In loving memory of Mike Leach, 1961-2022" appears. Also counts as a major tearjerker.
    • In Arkansas moves out of the FBS basement, Arkansas leaves the FBS basement, where the worst teams reside, after having a 4-0 start to its 2021 season that lands it in the top 10 of the AP Poll. While the other teams are initially shocked at this revelation, they are ultimately happy to see their friend succeed. Arkansas would ultimately finish the year 9-4, including a bowl win over Penn State in the Outback Bowl and a #21 ranking in the AP Poll.
University of Connecticut: You go out there, and you win it all. You win it all...for us!
Arkansas: (smiles and nods before leaving as the other basement-dwelling teams applaud his success)
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • In SEC Shorts - Georgia and Alabama give LSU tips on how to win the Playoff...sorta., taking place just before the 2019-20 College Football Playoff, LSU states that Georgia, having only been to one CFP at the time where they lost to Alabama in the national championship, should not be the one to tell them how to succeed in the tournament. Come 2023, Georgia has won back-to-back national championships, while LSU in the same time frame fired their head coach that brought them to the CFP and has not come close to being title contenders since the 2019 season..
    • In Texas A&M and Texas meet to discuss rekindling the rivalry, Texas and Texas A&M are in discussions to bring back their famous rivalry (known as the Lone Star Showdown), though they are ultimately unable to reach an agreement. In July 2021, Texas and Oklahoma confirmed their move from the Big XII to the SEC, to be official before the 2024 college football season, all but assuring the legendary rivalry would be a yearly game once more after a hiatus of almost 15 years.
      • This is made even funnier when considering that, in the video, Texas claims A&M's move to the SEC was a "huge colossal disaster" (never mind A&M has, for the most part, been a solid and competitive team in the SEC since their arrival in 2012, even finishing #4 in the AP Poll in 2020), while also saying Texas would happily "bring them back into the fold" of the Big XII. It seems Texas decided to instead follow their rivals to the SEC in search of revenue and success, the latter of which has been lacking for the program since 2009 even if they have plenty of the former.
      • Even better, Texas spends a good amount of the video bragging about the Longhorn Network, a regional sports network run by ESPN and the University of Texas at Austin focusing solely on Texas Longhorns athletics. Following the announcement that Texas and Oklahoma would be leaving the Big XII for the SEC, ESPN president of programming Burke Magnus confirmed that Longhorn Network's programming would be "folded" into the SEC Network, a similar network focusing on the SEC, after the transition was completed. This is even lampshaded by SEC Shorts in Texas gets held up at SEC security, which was released days after the shocking news of the SEC adding Texas and Oklahoma was announced.
    • In "What if Tennessee's 2019 season played like a boxing movie?", Tennessee, parodying Rocky comes back from a 1-4 start to their 2019 season to finish the year making a bowl game thanks to winning five of their next six (would eventually be seven of their next eight, including said bowl game). In July 2023, however, Tennessee would have all of its 2019 & 2020 wins vacated due to recruiting violations that occurred during that time, ruining any heartwarming sentiment from the video.
