  • Values Resonance: T.J. uses cheap labor from younger kids in order to eventually obtain all of the playground's monster sticker currency and own everything, which makes it impossible for any of the other kids to enjoy anything. At the end of the episode, TJ is persuaded to sign a contract that prevents monopolies in the schoolyard. The episode feels even more clever today, with increasing the wealth gap in the 2010s and 2020s resulting in higher-income citizens amassing more power and paying less tax money to fund public institutions, while corporations such as Apple and Amazon pay their employees poorly despite being insanely lucrative.
