YMMV / RWBY V9 E5 "The Parfait Predicament"

• Epileptic Trees:
  • A few fans have caught on that the Ruby who escorts Weiss away and learns of the Rusted Knight’s identity doesn’t have Little with her nor is speaking at all, sparking fears that Neo has replaced her.
  • Speaking of Little, the Curious Cat's description of their cycle of death and rebirth have some fans believing that Little is actually a resurrected Penny.
  • The vain hope that the Rusted Knight isn't the real Jaune... or at the very least that those two lines under his eyes are stress related & not the result of aging possibly as much as a decade beyond them!
  • Or! Jaune told the Red Haired Woman, "she should be standing here." She said, "She is." What if that's not a metaphor? She's never actually refereed to as Pyrrha's mother, she's "The Red Haired Woman". What if *somehow* at the end of all this pain is a revived Pyrrha of equal age? ... who has apparently time traveled at least once?? (it makes about as much sense at the rest of this season & that level of foreshadowing is VERY up CRWBY's alley)
• Shocking Moments: Many fans expected the Rusted Knight to be Jaune but what floored them was that Jaune had actually aged a good deal.
