- Hollywood Homely: Rosemary is said to be a spinster schoolteacher who USED to be as pretty as Madge in her youth and Millie feels inferior lookswise to her older sister (doesn't help that there are some boys who helpfully remind her of that). Yet the film has them played by the very attractive Rosalind Russell and a pretty Susan Strasberg.
