- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: They are very popular in China, to the point where they did tours in that country prior to disbanding. One of the members of the band (Stephen) also did solo tours in China after the band parted ways.
- Retroactive Recognition: Stephen has produced a self-titled solo album in 1974 and acted in various films, commercials, and TV shows (including two sitcoms called Please Stand By and The Music Shoppe, which sadly are both are hard to find) prior to becoming a member of Parachute Express.
- Janice Hubbard has sung in a group called The Hubbard Sisters (alongside her titular sisters) prior to becoming a member.
- Donny Becker played Gymbo the Clown, the mascot of Gymboree, for a while prior to forming the band.
