  • Anti-Climax Boss: Misha is a surprisingly easy fight, considering that he fills the role of Asgore. Despite his massive HP and high damage, he only has three attacks, and once you've memorized how to dodge those, he doesn't put up much of a fight, even though he speeds up at low HP. He still takes a while to defeat — at the minimum, 20 shots from your Derringer if you're at level 1 — so the fight can end up being more annoying than difficult.
  • Best Boss Ever: Tavish, the RED Demoman, is a hilarious boss, if easy. It starts out like the Undyne fight, but you can give him alcohol during the battle. Not only does this make him become more incoherent and slur his words, but it affects his attacks as well, making his thrown swords jiggle around in the air and his sword stabs go wildly off course. While you're running away from him, you can even trick him into slamming into a wall by accident.
  • Breather Boss: In stark contrast to Mettaton EX, who was That One Boss in the original, Scout is an easy fight. Most of his attacks are similar to Mettaton's, but slower and easier to dodge, and his only really tough attack is one where he sends kicking legs while occasionally spawning miniature Mettatons at the top of the box. He also gives up the fight much faster than Mettaton does if you're playing pacifist, and has low HP if you want to kill him. It's given some justification in-story, as Scout is showing off his moves in front of you and isn't actively trying to kill you.
  • Special Effects Failure: The sound doesn't loop or stop properly in some places. It's most notable in the musical scene with the Dispenser, where the lyrics are completely out of sync with the music, and the Pyro fight, where the music continues when it shouldn't and sometimes gets cut off.
  • That One Boss: The three Mighty Murdering Mercenaries are an immensely dangerous lot, with various large and fast-moving bullets that deal high damage. Thankfully, the peril is toned down for each enemy removed from the fight, especially if you know what order of such is optimal.
