• Arc Fatigue: The anime falls into this due to Luffy deciding to challenge the Foxy Pirates to another Davy Back Fight moments after the first one ended, which added another three games to the arc. Most viewers tend to agree that the arc overstayed its welcome during the second Davy Back Fight.
• Signature Scene: The one thing people tend to remember the most about this arc (other than how much the arc was extended in the anime) is the appearance of Afro Luffy.
