• Rewatch Bonus: After watching "The Evil Queen" a few episodes later. Regina's reaction to Snow offering her a chance makes a little more sense when you know that Regina seemed willing to attempt a Heel–Face Turn - but after Snow saw the remains of a village she'd had massacred, she said to Regina's face that she was beyond redemption. So after having her first attempt thrown back in her face, Regina's defiance just before her execution is a bit more understandable. Likewise Snow being convinced that killing Regina is wrong; she's remembering that Regina seemed on the verge of a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Also for the pilot. Since Regina ends up cursed with an enchantment that she can't harm Snow or Charming, it makes a little more sense as to why she goes to such extreme measures to mess with them. Additionally the conspicuous lack of her using her powers at the wedding - or why neither Snow nor Charming have any precautions to prevent her coming after them in the meantime.
