- Signature Scene: Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden hugging each other at the end of "Moomin and the Martians" has become one of the most recognizable images associated with The Moomins in general. This is thanks to it being featured on one of the Moomin collectible mugs (known as the "Love" mug), where its heartwarming imagery went on to make it one of the best-selling pieces of Moomin merchandise of all time.
