• Alternative Character Interpretation: Why is Félix so obsessed with making himself, Adrien, and Kagami free? Does he want them to break free from their Abusive Parents? If so, why? Are their parents just naturally controlling, or, as many fans think, are they sentimonsters who are magically programmed to submit to their parents' whims no matter what?
  • Kagami's very direct response to Lila telling her that only the children of the rich will go to the Diamond party, comparing her to gems and she can't go, comparing her to a stone. Is it Kagami being innocently insensitive or is she using a passive-aggressive Stealth Insult in retaliation for Lila's actions in "Protection"?
  • The former seems more likely since Kagami quickly clarifies that she doesn't view Lila that way but her mother and Gabriel do.
• Catharsis Factor: After all the rotten things Lila has done (and having received so little punishment for them), it's difficult not to enjoy watching Gabriel refuse to let her attend the party (and mockingly compare her to perfume bottles, to boot).
• Informed Wrongness: Amelie asserts that Gabriel has crossed the Moral Event Horizon for not wanting to help find Félix. But considering that Gabriel isn’t even related by blood to the boy, along with his generally antagonistic relationship with both her and her son, (though he didn't have to be such a cold-hearted jerk about it) he is well within his rights to choose not to help.
