  • Awesome Music: The end credits song, "This Must Be Love" by Innosense takes you right back to 1999 with its nostalgia and it's way better than the movie deserves.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment:
    • After Velvet eats a rum-filled chocolate, it cuts to what seems to be the start of another musical number… which lasts only a few seconds before it cuts back to Velvet in the car.
    • The ending where Miss Lilly reveals that she became the house (or rather, her spirit seemingly took possession of it) to congratulate the dogs comes out of nowhere.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Sherman being sent to a dog-fighting ring where the losers are slaughtered and Belle about to be sent to a furcoat factory.
  • Special Effect Failure: Despite having some pretty decent hand-drawn animation at times and looking at screenshots you wouldn’t notice anything wrong, the movie has some pretty glaring animation errors and glitches. To wit:
    • Characters either lose their eyes or gain an extra pair of eyes constantly, and it’s not even a background thing as you can clearly see them on-screen.
    • When JD and Chuffy are falling off the bridge their falling animation is blatantly reversed after it zooms in on JD’s face.
    • Vehicles like cars and motorcyles are just static images being moved around with no real animation.
    • When the Twins are leaving after their first scene, their walking animation constantly repeats the same loop where it skips a frame, making it look like they’re taking one step forward and one step backwards while walking forwards.
    • During the first musical number, the animation and drawings become so crude it looks downright unfinished. Not to mention stuff like Belle multiplying is just different frames choppily animated to give the illusion she’s multiplying, like it was something the animators came up with as they were animating it.
