• Epic Riff: All over the place. Marquee Moon isn't cited as one of the best guitar rock albums for nothing.
• First Installment Wins: By a pretty substantial margin, it remains their most acclaimed album (and the most acclaimed album of Verlaine's whole career, for that matter).
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The album was a minor hit in the U.K. It didn't fare so well in the U.S. despite rave reviews there.
