• Manipulative Bastard: Shakuni expertly played Yudhistir here. First, he let Yudhistir win a game, letting the latter becomes way too overconfident. Then he expertly anticipates Vidhur trying to prevent the use of Shakuni’s special dice, and does an end around by handing those dice to Duryodhan and tricking everyone into believing that his special dice are actually just some dice Duryodhan had on him. Finally, he sneeringly goads Yudhistir into raising the stakes more and more. And finally he wins it all.
