  • Awesome Music: In general, the game's soundtrack (by famous YouTube composer Noteblock) is really good.
    • For we are Questbound, the title theme, starts out as a relaxing lullaby. And then it suddenly becomes a triumphant chiptune song with a catchy melody.
    • Teapot Prairie, the World 1 theme, is very upbeat and makes you feel like you're about to start an amazing adventure, which you are.
    • Here Comes Trouble, the miniboss theme, takes chiptune to a whole new level, being a chaotic and over-the-top theme that makes you feel like the boss.
    • Jurassic Peak, the World 2 theme, is a ragtime-sounding piece that fits well with the more platform-oriented nature of the World 2 levels, unlike the first world, which was more about puzzles.
    • The Woodworks, the World 3 theme, is a funky beat that fits with the setting of the inside of a giant tree.
    • Gourmet Strikes, the Evil Overlord's theme that plays in most boss intro cutscenes, although a short loop, fits the sinister atmosphere perfectly.
    • A Bout for a Bounty, the boss theme, is a frantic, fast-paced song that makes you wanna defeat the area boss before they kill you.
  • Goddamned Boss: Beaver Feaver(sic)'s arena contains purple spikes that shoot at the fruit at the top of the screen when shot. Said fruit stuns the boss, allowing you to attack him. Sounds simple, right? Well, unfortunately, Beaver Feaver is constantly running across the arena, making it hard to stun him with the fruit. Combine that with the spikes constantly tilting in different directions and the fruit moving towards the left, and it makes for an extremely tight window to shoot at the spikes. Not helping is that a lot of Beaver Feaver's attacks are quite hard to dodge.
  • I Am Not Shazam: Beware the Protagonist Title Fallacy. The wizard you play as is named Pepe, according to Word of God.
