  • Old Raw Head Bloody Bones is horrifying in both appearance and power. A huge hideous ghost that transforms Little Eight John into a spot of jam, that his mother nearly wipes off. It leaves you wondering just what other disturbing abilities Bloody Bones is capable of. Fortunately, it's implied to just be a dream, but still.
  • Then there's Little Eight John's situation in his perspective. You've been changed into a small mass of jam with only your face intact, and you're somehow alive and breathing but unable to move at all. Not helped by the fact that his mother nearly wipes him off, which could've injured Little Eight John or worse. No wonder the boy changed his ways after experiencing such a dream.
  • There's supposedly an older black and white version of the book, a few of it's pages having been uploaded onto Twitter. Said page shows what is presumably Little Eight John being stalked by a horrifying ogre-like monster that could very well be the book's iteration of Old Raw Head Bloody Bones.
