• Jerkass Woobie: Randall Wiley, whose fraud case kicks everything off. What he did was wrong and he was even willing to serve a small sentence to make up for it. Unfortunately, his case ended up in front of Karlin, whose zealousness leads to his plea being rejected and eventually his remand to Rikers, where he is forced to pay for a hitman. On the stand, he notes he was mugged for his watch while on the bus to prison.
