• Alternate Character Interpretation: While Garfield themselves are depicted more or less as an uncaring/rude feline, the video interprets this as apathy due to ultimately fearing being alone without his owner.
• Awesome Art: Despite the animation being only around 50 seconds long, it is very impressive not only in how fluid said animation, but having its own gorgeous style as well that perfectly matches the energy presented in the song.
• Colbert Bump: The video itself has caused the original JW Francis song to gain a large amount of attention. It's not a surprise that many comments on both the music video and official uploads often come from the original animation.
• Tear Jerker: While the original video itself is more lighthearted, according to Word of God, the main inspiration for said video was the thought about Garfield being "broken" when Jon is not around and his apathy ultimately stemming from depression. Ouch.
