- Shocking Moments:
- Amity instinctively using a high powered fire spell during her duel with Luz and nearly killing the Jedi in the process when by that point she had only just begun learning about pyro magic and thus shouldn’t have been able to pull it off without a training wand regardless of power glyph she was using at the time. Subtly foreshadowing the fact that she’s Force Sensitive.
- Luz communicating with the Titan through a moon magic enhanced Force vision, even though she later admits that “speaking” to the dead is a Force technique way to advanced for a mere Padawan like herself to be capable of.
- Luz momentarily giving into The Dark Side and beheading Tibbles without a moment’s hesitation, and admitting that he’s not the first life she has taken.
- At the end of Chapter 14, Amity and Willow encounter two Inner Luz's within her mind. One who has the appearance of a Jedi Knight and another who has the appearance of a Sith.
- In Chapter 16, Luz faces a Dark Jedi during Grom who is revealed to be a dark version of Amity, which symbolizes Luz's fear of failing her as her teacher.
