• Diagnosed by the Audience: As obscure as the movie may be, one of the more popular things about it is that it is obvious that Martha is basically a reskin of the Fatal Attraction characterization of Borderline Personality Disorder. She smokes & drinks frequently and will stop at NOTHING to get rid of Helen and keep her son and grandson to herself. She even uses the classic phrase "I won't take no for an answer!" to Jackson at one point in the film.
