YMMV / Guenevere

Go To

  • Base-Breaking Character: Some fans find Arthur's sweet and idealistic nature endearing, while others are irritated by his thoughtlessness, naivete, bouts of idiocy and poor judgement, as well as his pressure on Guen to produce an heir.

  • The Woobie: Potentially Arthur, depending on how Guen treats him. Over the course of the entire game, she can consistently be cold, rude, and distant towards him, disobey his direct orders, repeatedly refer to him an idiot and ineffectual ruler, sabotage his dreams and vision at every opportunity, be unfaithful to him with his sister Morgana and/or best friend Lancelot, have Lancelot's child (and tell him, or pass it off as his), manipulate him into believing she loves him while inwardly detesting him, leave him with no help while he's risking his life to try and rescue her, ruin his reputation and manipulate the people of Britain into thinking of him as a poor leader, sabotage his relationship with his sister and his best friend, and side with his traitorous son Mordred against him (and even romance Mordred as well).
