• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • In the official popularity poll included in chapter 107, Ryouko Tanaka managed to place sixth— above Daisuke himself—despite only appearing in about five chapters by that point.
  • In the second poll, included with chapter 209, Ryouko placed third, above two-thirds of the titular club. Meanwhile, Daisuke's mom placed seventh, above both of her children, even though most of her appearances involve people mistaking her for her crossdressing son. Even Kaname of the newspaper club ranked higher than poor Daisuke, despite barely appearing in the series.
  • In the third popularity poll in chapter 308, both Ryouko and Reiko (one of the most prominent supporting characters since the manga began) are both beaten by Class Rep, an extremely minor character who reached sixth place, right behind the female members of the titular club.
