YMMV / Futurama S 8 E 8 Zapp Gets Cancelled

• Catharsis Factor: Kif finally calls a complaint about Zapp and successfully gets him suspended as captain. To many fans, Zapp had this coming for a LONG time.
• Crosses the Line Twice: The episode has many ludicrous and hilarious moments that are basically uncalled for such as Zapp taking a shower in the Nimbus cockpit in front of the entire crew and revelations that he wore "greenface".
• Genius Bonus: When Flashbot shows off his blinding light that is released whenever he opens his chest compartment and Marlene snarks that she has seen brighter, he responds "It's not about the brightness. It's about the color temperature".
• Moral Event Horizon: Dr. Kind crosses this when he attempts to pollute the Tactillians' air supply simply because no one else would do it when they have the chance to.
• The Woobie: Leela. She is miserable about her job at Planet Express at the beginning of the episode, feeling she is in a dead-end career by being the Only Sane Employee. Just when it looked like her life is going to take a turn for the better by becoming captain of the Nimbus, she is forced to take orders that require her to go against her morals and cross lines that she wouldn't. And finally, despite doing an act of heroism that she gets awarded for, she is kicked out of DOOP for disobeying said orders.
