• Awesome Music: Played straight and parodied.
  • "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky III is used frequently for comedic affect, usually in montage form, specifically in Episode 2 and 4.
  • "I See The Light" from Tangled is used at the end of Episode 5, but this is played straight and dramatic.
  • The end of "Paris Burning" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame is used when a overly dramatic scene pops up.
• Crosses the Line Twice: Episode 4 is essentially pointing out how damn funny domestic abuse is. Not only that, but half the things Shigure says is downright immoral.
