• Difficulty Spike: The Cultist Hideout dungeon early one can be quite tough if you hadn't had the foresight to shop around for new gear when first given the chance.
• Despair Event Horizon: Soraan went through this after losing one of his friends taking on a mark far beyond their usual strength, one he pressured the others into taking on, and his love being permanently crippled. This was followed by said love's brother taking her away from him in a fit of rage (without her consent as she wasn't yet conscious from her injuries) and his final friend parting amicably soon after to pursue his own path. Soraan then attempted to go home, only to find it and everyone in it was killed in a natural disaster, and as he meekly wandered off to figure out what to do with his life, he gets infected by the amber. A combination of these events 'offends' him, and he devotes himself to his new dark God because he has nothing left to live for.
  • He later regrets his prior actions, leading to a change of heart and turn from outright villain into an anti-villain.
• Moral Event Horizon: Despite his change of heart, Soraan's plan to see the Warriors of Light victorious include playing the villain, with the ends being justified through any and all means. He shattered one of the crystals and drowns all of M'Rasu, killing most of the island's inhabitants in an act of genocide, all in order to motivate them to grow their power and stop Diabolos.
