- Nightmare Fuel: The race at Guidizzolo ending with Alfonso’s car blowing out a tire, flying and crashing against a telephone pole before tumbling across several spectators, killing several, including five children. This is capped off by the grisly sight of Alfonso’s corpse split in half.
- Special Effects Failure: The Guidizzolo race breaking into a horrific crash entered Narm territory for some viewers thanks to the car not simply going into a flip, but launching into the air against all laws of physics, and bouncing off a telephone pole while Alfonso and his co-driver ragdoll out of it at impossible angles in really awkward CGI.
