• Alternative Character Interpretation: In the song "Missing", the protagonist is usually thought to be someone who's friend mysteriously disappeared without a trace, and thus a major Tear Jerker. It takes on a whole different meaning if the protagonist is actually a Stalker with a Crush, and the person is deliberately trying to avoid them, in which case it's probably a good thing the protagonist can't find them.
• Eclipsed by the Remix: "Missing" is one of the finer examples of this trope in music, as the Todd Terry Club Mix is what drove the song's popularity. To this day, it's the version of the song people think of most frequently. It got the point where that version of the song ended up driving the group's musical style for a while.
