• Continuity Lockout: To know even half of the characters featured would require nothing short of skimming the entire franchise right down to their most obscure spinoffs in the 90s, making newcomers from Sonic Prime rather lost at first glance. Thankfully, the local Spacebattles thread is more than happy to help and the chapters themselves help with introducing any unfamiliar characters with a clear picture of who they are.
• Epileptic Trees: There are plenty of theories as to why certain characters (Blaze and Percival, Sonic and Scourge) haven't merged, with some theorizing that for the latter, it is simply that Scourge's morality is too much of the opposite of Sonic's own that it couldn't even fit.
• Slow-Paced Beginning: Due to the story's nature and scope of the Intra-Franchise Crossover, the Debut Queue lasted over a dozen chapters as a side-effect.
