• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Winston Frost was already comparable to Norman Osborn when it came to being a lousy parent but his worst moment in the series is when he refuses to pay Emma's ransom because she turned her back on him over him sending her brother to a mental institution.
  • Astrid crossed it before the events of the series when she used her telepathy to make her sister murder their parents out of jealousy.
• The Woobie:
  • Christian. His father has his boyfriend framed for drug possession and deported. This results in Christian turning to drugs and being Driven to Suicide. He is then institutionalized by his father.
  • Emma is picked on in high school as a teenager and was raised by an emotionally abusive father who never expressed any pride in her accomplishments.
