• Cliché Storm: The theory is predicated on the standard Everyone Is Jesus in Purgatory cliches, specifically the incredibly common theory that's been applied to pretty much all children's media that everyone's, well, in purgatory and all have suitably tragic backstories common for any given Dark Fic. The theory tries to distinguish itself via the Unfinished Business of each kid, and while they individually may be well thought out, the notion of Unfinished Business is in of itself yet another cliche.
• Tearjerker: Really, just the fact that the kids of the Cul De Sac were killed before what could've been the best years of their lives and will never experience adulthood is guaranteed to bring the waterworks.
