• Demonic Spiders: The Laser Raptors. Every five seconds, they fire an energy beam that insta-kills anything in its path, and can deal horribly strong knockback if you manage to close the distance. It will disintegrate you if you're not moving perpendicular to its line of fire, so God help you if you don't notice one after leaving the elevator.
• That One Level: Chapter 2, Level 5, at least on Insane mode. While the first four levels could be managed through careful strategy and exploitation of environmental hazards, this level throws you into a melee against a quartet of armored Mk2 Jetpack bots. They're much faster than your underleveled human character, can take a good handful of hits to take down, and are liable to slice you clean in half should you turn your back to one.
