- Gratuitous Special Effects: A particularly egregious example occurs in at the end of the episode where Bones and Booth start shooting nerf guns at each other. The balls are clearly CGI and the actors are clearly pumping empty guns, and it rather begs the question why not just use real nerf balls and save the special effects budget?
