• Alternative Joke Interpretation: Bob admits that he’s sure at least two of the Belcher kids will be living with their parents for a long time in adulthood. Which two did he have in mind when he said this? Was he actually thinking all three kids when he said this? Or was he just saying this to help Linda feel better?
• Catharsis Factor: Linda is at her most passive-aggressive and delusional in this episode as she harasses and essentially holds captive an author, all to make her write another children’s book to cling to her motherhood. That same author ends up putting her in a painful half-nelson in the climax, resulting in anti-Linda fans and even pro-Linda fans who thought she went too far finding some joy in Linda finally receiving physical retaliation for her more harmful antics.
